Falling Walls Lab für Studierende und Nachwuchswissenschaftler an der FAU

An der FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg findet am Montag, 16. Juli 2018 (13-17 Uhr, Orangerie, Erlangen) ein Falling Walls Lab für Nachwuchswissenschaftler und Studierende statt.

Was ist das?

»The Falling Walls Lab is an international forum for the next generation of outstanding innovators and creative thinkers. Its aim is to promote exceptional ideas and to connect promising scientists and entrepreneurs from all fields on a global level. Participants get the opportunity to present their research work, business model, or initiative to peers, a high-calibre jury made up of experts from academia and business, and the general public – in 3 minutes each.«

Wer verantwortet das?

Die Falling Walls Labs werden veranstaltet von der Falling Walls Foundation, die anlässlich des 20 Jahrestages des Mauerfalls in Berlin gegründet wurde: »Falling Walls is a unique international platform for leaders from the worlds of science, business, politics, the arts and society. The Falling Walls Foundation, a charity, is generously supported by the German Ministry for Education and Research, the Robert Bosch Stiftung, the Helmholtz Association, the Berlin Senate and numerous other acclaimed academic institutions, foundations, companies, non-governmental organisations and prominent individuals.«

Wer verantwortet das an der FAU?

Das lokale Lab wurde von Vizepräsidentin Prof. Dr. Kathrin Möslein und Abteilung F2 Wissens- und Technologietransfer, Weiterbildung und Patentangelegenheiten an die FAU geholt.

Was muss ich noch wissen?

Die FAU ist nur eine von zwei deutschen Universitäten, an denen dieses Jahr ein lokales Falling Wall Lab veranstaltet wird. Der lokale Sieger erhält eine Einladung zum Finale nach Berlin.
